Accounts and locations

Your Tillhaus account represents your Operator business. It can manage multiple physical market Locations, including markets placed at a hotel, apartment community, or another business's property. A Location belongs to the Operator; the property host is a separate business.

Each Location has its own address, inventory, and payment-reader readiness. Product catalog prices are currently shared across the Operator's Locations, while stock quantities are tracked separately at each Location. Retail checkout fees come from the Operator's selected plan and apply consistently across its Locations. Operator team members can also configure additional effective-dated local fees from Locations → Local fees. Those fees apply only to new sales at that Location.

Keep each location's address current. A complete US address is required when creating or editing a location. The web UI collects address line 1, optional line 2, city, state, ZIP code, and country; state is selected from the US state list. Existing locations without an address can be completed from Locations → Edit.

A complete address is also required for card-present readiness. Stripe Terminal locations are external payment resources linked to the Tillhaus location; they are not interchangeable IDs.
