Tablet and reader setup

Use a supported physical Android device for a physical Stripe Reader M2. An Android emulator cannot access a USB reader, but it can exercise a simulated reader in non-live test mode when enabled explicitly. Configure the location and Stripe connection in Store Management before pairing the reader.

The tablet should show whether it is using a simulated reader, test reader, or live reader. A disconnected or ambiguous reader result must be reconciled before attempting another payment.
