Billing
Tillhaus services are provided and billed by CodeCube Ventures LLC. Your selected plan, cadence, and recurring amount are shown in account billing before commitment.
The public pricing section shows the currently available plans. When more than one plan is available, compare the recurring amount and checkout-fee terms side-by-side, then choose Start with this plan to begin onboarding with that plan selected. If only one plan is available, Tillhaus shows that plan without a comparison column. Plans that are inactive or not published are not shown publicly.
Retail sales are charged on the Operator's Stripe connected account; under the direct-charge model, the Operator's business is the merchant of record. Stripe processing costs apply to that account, and a plan-based application fee may be transferred to CodeCube Ventures LLC. This retail application fee is separate from the recurring Tillhaus subscription. Each plan also defines its checkout-fee terms: an optional percentage and/or fixed USD amount. Those terms apply consistently across every Location on the Operator account and are shown before checkout. Plan changes are effective-dated; completed payments retain the exact fee snapshot that was calculated at the time.
An authorized Operator team member can also configure Location-specific fees from Store Management. These local fees are added after plan fees for that Location only. Tillhaus currently provides generic fixed/percentage fee configuration, not jurisdiction-aware tax calculation or tax advice. Confirm tax rates, taxable products, display rules, registration, and remittance obligations with the appropriate adviser or authority. Changes are effective-dated and completed sales retain their original fee snapshots.
Using a local fee for sales tax
If you have determined a tax amount that should be represented as a Location-specific fee, an Operator team member with Store Management access can configure it from Locations → Local fees:
- Open the location where the tax applies and choose Local fees.
- Enter a clear name such as
Sales tax - New York. - Choose Percentage and enter the tax rate as a percentage. For example,
enter
8.25for an 8.25% tax rate, not0.0825. - Save the fee and confirm that it is active.
For a flat charge rather than a rate, choose Fixed USD and enter the dollar amount. A percentage fee is calculated from the merchandise subtotal before fees. Multiple active local fees can apply to the same location, and each location can have a different set of local fees.
Fee changes take effect from the time they are saved. Tillhaus does not rewrite completed transactions: receipts, reports, and payment records retain the fee name, type, configured value, and amount used at checkout. Before charging tax, confirm the applicable rate, taxable products, tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive rules, registration requirements, and filing obligations with your tax adviser or local authority. Tillhaus provides fee configuration; it does not determine whether a charge is legally required or calculate jurisdiction-specific tax rules.
